Responsibilities:

·Performs preventive maintenance workto keep equipment in peak operating condition.

·Must follow all LOTO and safetyprocedures, consistently.

·Uses precision testing equipment toperform preventive maintenance activities. This includes volt ohm meters,vibration detectors, ball bar analysis, and other pieces of analyticalequipment as needed.

·Performs servicing, testing,inspections and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment components, andelectrical equipment.

·Changes belts and filters, greasesmotors, visually checks compressors, and pumps.

·Cleans and lubricates shafts,bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

·Cleans air cleaning units, checksfan/blower cfm, checks temperature of bearings, test motors for amperage,voltage and rpms.

·Maintains accurate records ofmaintenance activities.

Qualifications / Skills:

·Ability to use a variety of handtools, lubrication equipment, volt meters, electric and pneumatic, will berequired.

·Must be able to read and follow avariety of machine tool builder documentation including electrical, mechanical,pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings, part lists, and assembly drawings.

·Will need to be able to operate afork lift and boom lift.

·Ability to work in safe andefficient manner. This person will be responsible for his safety and the safetyof others working with him.

Degree & Formal Training Required:

·A two year Associates degree ispreferred.

·Two years’ experience in machine maintenanceand repair

·Sitting, standing, walking, driving,climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling,twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs multiple times per shift.
