Job Description :
He/ She will be responsible for the design and development of Electrical systems for HVAC, compressor products. This person should have minimum of 4-7 years’ experience in electrical design engineering
New Product Development Engineering and Productivity (VAVE)
·Develop products by studying customer requirements and criteria
·Proficient in Electrical Component Specifications, Selection, Analysis, Testing (Functional & Reliability) of followings:
oElectrical Components: Contactor, Relay, Primary and secondary protection devices, Transformer
oLV Motors (AC Induction, Brush DC, BLDC, Stepper, Servo, Permanent Magnet)
oLV Motor Controllers (Drives, VFD, Inverter)
·Design and development of control panel
·Responsible to develop Product Level Electrical design, Wiring & Harness Design
·Work along with Multi-Disciplinary (Structural, Electronics, Software and Reliability) Team to develop System or Component Level Functional, Reliability & Qualification Requirements and Design;
·To Foster an Environment conducive for Innovation & Change with good Analytical Thinking and must make design trade-offs to insure high reliability and best performance & low cost.
·Work closely with Supply Management to Source and Evaluate / Qualify the purchased Components and Assemblies;
·Make Tradeoff analysis of circuits and components with respect to performance, cost, quality and design flexibility;
·Good understanding of safety and protection standards and their implementation
·Thorough understanding of various electrical codes and country standards
·Knowledge in PLM and system level activities
·Good Communication Skills – Ability to work with onsite Teams and engineers
·Strong problem solving and analysis skills
·Knowledge in Electrical design tool – preferred
·Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
·4 to 7 years of experience in Electrical System design
·Position is based in Bangalore
