Responsibilities:

  • Design and Delivery reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements according to schedule and in alignments with development standards.

  • Guide software development activities for a team of 3-5 technical staff and contractors that will deliver custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICE) to enable the global design for the back off transformation of Ingersoll Rand.

  • Provide custom application support for all 11i instances and the R12 Oracle instance in Ingersoll Rand.

  • Support the processes, standards and tools to enable RICE development for Oracle EBS

  • Support the processes that ensure application availability and manage the application life cycle for Oracle R12 and related applications.

  • Manage risks associated with program implementation and developing risk mitigation strategies.

  • Direct the day to day activities of Contractor resources up to a team size of 5 to 7

  • Direct the day to day activities of up to 1 to 3 direct reports.

Qualifications:

BS degree required

Experience: 8 years of Oracle R12

  • Oracle PL/SQL; Oracle Forms, BI Publisher, OAF, AOL

  • The ERP Technical Lead will provide leadership for the design and delivery of reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICE) across all functional areas for specific deployment or regions of the back office transformation of Ingersoll Rand.

  • This position will be part of the ERP team working with various locations around the world to design and implement a single business solution and system utilizing Oracle R12. Candidate will have global large scale ERP implementation experience. This position will direct the activities of Contract resources up to a team of 5 to 7. In some cases this position may have 1 to 3 direct reports.

  • 8 or more years of computer systems implementation experience supporting large scale ERP support organizations

  • 8 or more years of experience with the Oracle e-Business Suite (preferably R12) with hands-on working experience managing technical organizations

  • 8 or more years of experience in application development within Oracle ERP

  • Qualified candidates will be motivational thought leaders, driven individuals, and possess exceptional business acumen, coupled with strong working knowledge of ERP implementations

  • Experienced with systems roll-outs, facilitating change management, transitions from project phase to on-going systems support

  • Experience in building process capability across technical application support organizations

  • Diligent attention to detail, processes and quality of outputs

  • Operational experience and strong disciplined process knowledge in resolving production outages, and maintaining application environments for support and projects

  • Experience in working with global outsourcing partners

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities

  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills across global heavily matrixed organizations

  • Experience implementing, designing and enforcing project management methodology and controls

  • Ability to quickly prioritize issues/requests and be capable of personally diving deep when required to deliver solutions within an accelerated time frame
