Job Summary: The Finance Controller, will support the ISC FinanceLeader as the finance partner in driving and leading the collection of plantdata, operations reporting, compliance, and implementation of processimprovements for the Columbia, SC Plant Location which supportsour Trane Commercial HVAC strategic business unit.

Responsibilities:

·Oversee and manage a direct team of 4 that supportthe Columbia, SC location. This includes, the following:

oMonthly and Quarterly closings as per US GAAP

oLead/manage all Costing and Inventory, including annual standardsprocess

oSupport plant operations with analysis and reporting, which includesOperational Excellence initiatives.

oMonitor and report financial performance, analyze and interpretoperating results, investigate variances and unusual items; and evaluate theireffect on operations.

oPerform management reporting and analysis, including preparationof analyses for the monthly operating reviews (MOR). Utilize high levelanalytical skills in reviewing monthly, quarterly and year end results.

oManage Accounts Payable

oLiaison and reporting for external and Internal Audits.

oDraw attention to compliance issues to maintain consistency withSarbanes Oxley and IR policies and work closely with plant teams to remediate.

oReview and validate reported Plant Productivity and Inflation toensure accuracy and connectivity with financial results

oAssist in the development and presentation of recurring and ad-hocfinancial plans, budgets, forecasts, statements, metric scorecards and reportsto enhance business decisions and drive operational efficiency

oSupport and lead growth initiative and expansion,

oParticipate in or lead other projects as necessary

Qualifications:

·4 year degree in Accounting or Finance required; advanced degreeor chartered certification desired (CMA, CFA, CPA) is desired.

·10 years accounting experience; cost accounting experiencepreferred

·25% Travel Required
