Job Description: National Account Manager- Trane Rental ServicesThe ideal candidate will be a senior sales professional who has negotiated high-value national contracts within the rental industry. They would be responsible for developing internal and external customer relationships & throughout all levels of management. In this key role, you will increase our company's market share, grow a national account customer base and revenue while facilitating all national account customer business. Success will be measured by rental addendums added to national contracts, and rental revenue achieved within these new rental national accounts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage and grow Trane Rentals National Accounts within existing Trane/IR National Accounts

·Achieve rental addendums into strategic Trane/IR National Accounts

·Identify key strategic Trane/IR National Accounts to target based on Rental Opportunity

·Collaborates effectively with Trane/IR local and National & Local Account managers

·Pro-actively create strategies & programs to increase rentals/revenue with accounts Manage and grow stand-alone Trane Rental National Account and Partnerships in conjunction with Product Manager

·Coordinate all aspects of the legal process between Trane/IR and target accounts to achieve desired outcomes

·Provides business analysis on what Trane/IR National Accounts are the best to target and builds business case to influence key stakeholders to support

·Provides ongoing market and competitor analysis to leadership team

·Provides support as needed to the field sales team

·Completes projects on time as assigned by the National Sales Leader

·Participates in OpEx Value Stream Business Improvement projects

·Represents Trane Rental at Industry and customer trade shows/events as needed


·Bachelor's degree preferred

·At least 7 years of previous direct business to business sales preferably selling & negotiating complex national agreements in the rental industry (Industrial sector experience preferred)

·Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation and research skills

·Ability to work independently; highly motivated to succeed even when setbacks occur

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office

·Ability to work remotely if needed

·Ability to travel as needed for the business
